FIRE
Temporally
Closed

Three weeks ago, a fire broke out in our Lower Barn at Happy Heart Stables, quickly spreading and consuming the wooden structure. Despite the best efforts of firefighters, the barn was a total loss. Thankfully, no horses or other livestock were housed in our Lower Barn at the time of the fire, and no major equipment was stored inside. While the loss of tack and other supplies is significant, the safety and well-being of the animals remain the top priority for the family at Happy Heart Stables.
In the wake of the fire, Happy Heart Stables has made the difficult decision to close its doors for several months. This temporary closure will allow the family to assess the damage, clean up the site, and begin the process of rebuilding. Plans are already underway to design and construct a new barn that will be both functional and beautiful. While the road ahead may be long and challenging, the family at Happy Heart Stables is committed to creating a space that will once again be a hub of activity and joy for both animals and their human companions.
Although the loss of our Lower Barn has been a devastating blow, the spirit of resilience and determination at Happy Heart Stables remains strong. While the road to recovery may be difficult, the family at Happy Heart Stables is grateful for the support and determined to emerge from this challenge even stronger than before.
As Happy Heart Stables looks towards the future, the family is filled with hope and excitement for what lies ahead. The new barn will be a fresh start, a chance to create an even better space for the animals and riders.
